I will create a diversion program aimed at allowing first time non-violent offenders to avoid criminal convictions by participating in a trusted rehabilitation, education, and community supported programs.
The program will minimize court involvement for minor traffic and criminal offense allowing resources to be focused on more serious cases to avoid waste and create accountability.
The community engagement program will create educational opportunities for drug and alcohol awareness and treatment resources for non-violent offenders to attempt to reduce recidivism.
